Disclaimer: If you completely and totally hate "who gets the girl" spoilers, please don't read this until you have read the following books: The Broken Lands, The Selection, The Lunar Chronicles, Heartless, Caraval, The False Prince, Wraithwood, PJO/HOO, To All the Boys I've Loved Before, and A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. If you don't care, go right on ahead :)
I'm not even kidding when I say that these boys are the best boyfriends I have ever read about. If you're a reader, you know that books make your expectations SO high when it comes to guys. Annoying, but worth it. These guys are awesome, but I'll let my list speak for itself...

10. Sam, The Broken Lands

Obviously, The Broken Lands is my favorite book ever, as I've said a million times before, but it has a tiny bit of romance aspect. Aka, Sam. (Also, he does have a last name, but I can't for the life of me find it online and apparently I'm way to lazy to search my book, so, he's just Sam.) The romance may be small, but I think it's just enough to give this book the oomph it needed to be the best book ever (in my opinion, anyways). Also, this is one of my favorite Jin/Sam moments. It's so simple, yet so intimate at the same time.
"Jin caught Sam looking. Before she could hide her hand in her lap, he caught hold of it. She flinched, but allowed him to uncurl her fingers on the tabletop. Momentarily forgetting that there were three pairs of eyes watching, he left his palm over hers for just a moment, wishing he could find a way to make it seem casual somehow." -The Broken Lands

9. Maxon Schreave, The Selection

I was back and forth the entire time between Maxon and Aspen, but they both got their happy ending. I love it when people get happy endings. Am I living vicariously through fictional characters? No. Maybe. Okay, yes but there's nothing wrong with liking romance books. The Selection is beautiful, and I love the Maxon/America dynamic so much. Enemies to lovers trope may be my favorite, but I love a good friends to lovers.
“Break my heart. Break it a thousand times if you like. It was only ever yours to break anyway.” -Maxon, The Selection

8. Kai/Wolf/Thorne/Jacin, The Lunar Chronicles

Yes, yes, I know it's four different boys, but I only had 10 slots, and I couldn't pick just 1 of these amazing boyfriends. It took a lot of searching to find quotes from all of them, but you can tell how amazing they are just by these four things they said:
"I love you. I want to be with you for the rest of my life. I want to marry you, and, yes, I want you to be my empress." - Kai, Stars Above
“But you’re the only one, Scarlet. You’ll always be the only one.” -Wolf, Scarlet
“I promise, I will not let you die without being kissed.” -Thorne, Cress
"I will protect Winter with my life..." -Jacin, Winter

7. Jest, Heartless

Marissa Meyer has to have some kind of superpower to weave a book this heartbreaking. It might be called Heartless, but I was very heart-full reading this (aka I was crying. a lot). It's a villain-origin story for The Queen of Hearts, and to be completely honest with you, I wasn't expecting much. I love Wicked, and I was kind of expecting Heartless to be a kind-of Wicked tribute (but nothing could compare). Boy, was I wrong. This book, this story, it. is. phenomenal.
"I don't want your heart to belong to anyone but me." -Julian, Heartless

6. Julian & Dante, Caraval

I- These books, man. I love them. So much. I don't even know what to say. These boys gave me butterflies, plus the character development, the plot twists, and the descriptions! Goodness. I don't know how these authors do it.
"I've always been yours, Crimson." -Julian, Finale
"This is my choice, and I choose you, Donatella. I don’t need immortality. You’re my forever.”"-Dante, Finale

5. Jaron Eckbert, The False Prince

Surprisingly, The False Prince was a summer reading book, and I loved it so much I read the rest of the five book series. And I was chanting "kiss!" from the moment Jaron and Imogen's eyes met. This quote makes my heart so happy, oh my goodness. The book series is spectacular in itself, Jennifer A. Nielson had me sobbing and laughing so hard throughout all five books. I mean, any author that can get me laughing and also break my heart? These books have a special place in my heart.
"There is a part of us that is only my life. It is full of flaws and mistakes and stupidity, nothing that would ever describe you. Another part of us is our life, and it is beautiful because of you. Imogen, you are my purpose, the reason I open my eyes each morning. I close my eyes each night only in hopes of dreaming of you. Every day that my heart still beats, it is because of you.” -Jaron, The Captive Kingdom

4. Marcus Vorath, Wraithwood

Don't get me STARTED on Marcas Vorath. Goodness gracious, the plot twist at the end of Castelon...I won't spoil for those of you who haven't read yet, but I- I just can't. I was sobbing at the end of this, and oh, the knife in my chest. Just go read it, you won't regret it.
“I will come back to you. I wouldn’t leave you here alone if the world depended on it.” -Marcus, Castelon

3. Percy Jackson, PJO/HOO

Of course!!! What better boyfriend than the OG, Percy Jackson. I mean, we all know that from "you drool in your sleep", he was head over heels. He just took a while to figure it out ;). Percabeth is so amazing and wholesome and, while not exclusively a romance series, still makes me so very happy.
“The rivalry ends here. I love you, Wise Girl.” -Percy, Blood of Olympus

2. Peter Kavinsky, To All the Boys I've Loved Before

I think that these books are lesser known than Jenny Han's The Summer I Turned Pretty, but they were both written by the same author, so if you loved TSIP like I did, you should for sure read these. (Team Conrad, by the way. I will die on this hill, so don't even try to argue with me-- you won't change my mind.) Peter Kavinsky is every girl's dream-- popular, athletic, charming, funny. Lara Jean is the hopeless romantic who ends up falling in love with someone she would have never expected. They're adorable, and I love their relationship so much.
“Peter will love Lara Jean with all his heart, always.” -Peter, Always and Forever, Lara Jean

1. Ravi Singh, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder

I knew when I read these books that Ravi was a phenomenal boyfriend. (I mean, please, anyone who helps Pip do what she did in As Good As Dead? Automatic green flag. Put a ring on it, buddy.) He is so sensitive and sweet, and cares for her in a way that makes me melt into a puddle of hopeless romantic happiness.
“We’re a team, remember. You and me.” -Ravi, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder
